We were just landlords once, before JustMove. We had an urge to do better for ourselves and build towards a more assured financial future. And we found our solution in property.
As our portfolio grew, life grew busier – as it does – and we struggled to make the time for our investment properties. Our only option was to seek out an external company to manage them for us.
The goal: to find a solution that relieved us of the time they demanded but kept a passive income streaming in. We ended up choosing a high street estate-agent.
After hiring an estate agent, we quickly learned we had preferences when it came to property management. And we learned for the wrong reasons.
They quickly fell short on even the basic necessities of clear communication; not to mention our personal preferences of being more involved in my investments.
The service was poor and slow – the management minimal – and we found ourselves stressing more when the whole point was to stress less.
So, when we gained more time, we took the opportunity to learn about the process of property management ourselves. It didn’t take long for us to “reclaim” our own properties and manage them ourselves. More efficiently with less hassle – as it should be.
After talking to landlord peers, we quickly learned that many others experienced the same problems with high street agents that we had.
And then, in 2012, the thought occurred. We can offer a better service than the high-street agents AND undercut their prices. So we did.
JustMove’s values came naturally: we provide a personable and dedicated service that builds relationships with our landlord clients built on mutual trust and reputation.
Since then, the client list has grown organically, with over 90% of our business to date has been acquired via recommendations, natural organic growth.
